We just finished on of the Christmas cups (no review, sorry.) there was zero variety in the 40 pieces of candy and most of them were Milk. Boring! I have noticed. I've seen actually strawberries at the store too, so I'm thinking it must be a winter thing. We've got a couple more strawberry products coming up, and honestly I don't think I could eat any more. I love the variety, and some of their premium varieties are stellar, but the variety packs really leave a lot to be desired. More often than not, it's one interesting flavor mixed in with a lot of pedestrian ones that they recycle again and again. If you can find an Okashi no Machioka near you, it's often a graveyard for Tirol variety packs. Long after things disappear from the conbini shelves, they still offer them. I swear the winter pack with the snowmen on the front has been there year-round! Have you noticed the strawberry is currently the flavor du jour? AM/PM is full of strawberry sweets.
